I’m graduating from Champlin Park High School. I’ve also attended PSEO classes through North Hennepin Community College. While in high school, I’ve been involved as both a leader and member of FCA, an NHS member, and Co-Founder and President of the Champlin Park Bible Study Club. I participated in track and football my freshman and sophomore years, and played basketball for CDAA in grades 10–12. I work at Sundance Entertainment Center in the bowling alley and recently started working at Brookland Golf. Over the past few years, I’ve also worked as a part-time basketball referee through BPAA.
I’m consistently involved at Advent, whether it be ushering, landscaping, kitchen help, VBS, game nights, you name it. I’ve grown up in Sunday school here and have been confirmed. My favorite memory from Advent has to be VBS when I was younger. I still remember sitting in Anderson Hall, listening to the older kids shout the lyrics to the song “Praise Ye the Lord”. Last year, I had the opportunity to help out with VBS and provide a similar experience for younger campers.
I plan to attend Bethel University next year, majoring in marketing/graphic design. Thank you to all of the people who have supported me over the years, especially Dian and LuAnn for the phenomenal almond bars, and Sharon for the awesome hugs!
