At Advent Lutheran, we encourage all ages to encounter Christ, in wonder and wisdom, through worship, education, and joyful exploration. Join us in worship and experience the prayer ground, created for young families and children, and after worship, when we host Sunday School weekly.
Advent Lutheran’s Sunday School program currently runs pre-k through fourth grade. Young children are welcome to try out Sunday School with an adult chaperone if that is most comfortable for your family.
Sunday School is held on Sundays from 10:45 to 11:15 am. It takes place in the Cornerstone Room, and adults are expected to sign their kids in and out. Parents may register their child(ren) at any point during the school year.
A normal Sunday School class involves an activity or craft, a bible story, and an activity page that the children are sent home with. We currently use the Spark All Kids curriculum. If you have questions, or want to talk more in depth about this, you are more than welcome to contact Sophie, or Pastor Alexis.
Welcome Sunday is September 7, 2025. This is the beginning of our programming this academic year. Regular Sunday School classes then begin on September 14, and end on May 17, 2026.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Sophie Geister-Jones, our director of children, youth, and family ministry, at cyf@adventlutheran.com.
