Affirmation of Baptism

The rite of Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation) is an important time in the life of a young person, as they claim for themselves the promises made at their baptisms. 

Advent's Confirmation ministry begins in 6th grade this year 8th and 9th grade students can choose to Affirm their Baptism in May 2023. We focus on studetns buildilng relationships that matter with God, peers, adult leanders, and members of our communities. We build these relationships through energetic events, discussion, service-learning opportunities, and experiential worship.

Confirmation is on Wednesday Evenings, 6:30 - 7:45 pm, beginning with worship in the sanctuary. After worship, students gather in the Fellowship Hall for connection and discussion on the night's topic most Wednesday nights.

From the north: South on Highway 169. Take a right on 109th Ave. Drive 1/4 mile, and take a left on Jefferson Hwy. Advent will be one the right shortly after crossing over Highway 610 (approximately two miles).
