Carson is graduating from Champlin Park High School. He has been involved in Summer and Fall Marching Band, RCR Winter Drumline, NHS, Students Taking Action, House Basketball, Track and Field, Football, and Pit Band. He has also been involved in his faith community at Advent, where he participated in four years of confirmation, participated in the Bells Choir, volunteered as an usher, helped on summer volunteer service days, and assisted with Vacation Bible School. Carson especially enjoyed participating in summer service projects, with this past summer’s day trip with Sophie, Betsy, and Darby being a particular highlight. Through these experiences, he has learned the importance and impact of volunteering in the community, and how meaningful and fun it can be. This fall, Carson will attend the University of Minnesota to study Chemical Engineering and has been accepted into the Honors Program. He has also earned a spot in the University of Minnesota Marching Band, where he will play the Bass 5 drum.
