Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Fireside Room.  The Gospel for the coming week is studied.

Adult small group-Sunday Morning at 10:00

The group studies vary from session to session. Sessions are held during the 10:00 Education Hour.  This is a wonderful opportunity for adults to grow in faith and in fellowship. All are welcome!

God Chicks!

All women are welcome to attend this spirited class lead by Mary Zigan. God Chicks is a wonderful book study that focuses on listening to God and applying His principles to everyday life. Class begins on September 23 at 9:00! Questions? Contact Mary at mzigan@msn.com

Parents and Pie Fellowship

Parents and Pie Fellowship meets on Tuesday evenings during the Church School hour. Get to know others parents and enjoy Christian fellowship while children are in church school!   

Parenting Teens - Discussion Group

Ever wonder what to do with yourself when your kid goes to confirmation? Do you ever wonder how other parents manage the issues and challenges of raising a teenager? Please come and meet with other parents during the same time as confirmation class-Wednesdays at 6:00 (pizza) and class at 6:30.

Great Adventure

This great class continues with a DVD Bible study with a Quick Journey Through The Bible. This is an 8 part study and begins on Thursday, January 19 at 7:15. The class facilitator is Jim Dahl. He can be reached at jddahl@comcast.net

Free To Be Fit

Are you fit to be tied or free to bear fruit? This class will help people who struggle with unhealthy habits that sabotage us both physically and spiritually. The class facilitator is Mary Zigan and begins September 15th at 6:00 PM.

Stephen Ministry

Advent Lutheran Church has over thirty trained Stephen Ministers. These people are trained to help others through difficult times such as divorce, death of a spouse, loss of job, or other such circumstances. This caring relationship is offered at no charge and you need not be a member of Advent to ask for help. Women's Bible Study  Thursday Mornings at 9:30

Lay-led Thursday morning Bible study at 10:00. 

This women's study will meet in the Good Shepherd Room.

Class does not meet in the summer.

Health andWellness

Advent has a Parish Nurse program. This ministry celebrates health and wellness, encourages regular blood pressure checks and other screenings, offers support and referrals, and other programs to keep members healthy. Included in this ministry are prayer shawls. We wrap each other in love and prayers when walking through a difficult time. You will never walk alone as a member of Advent.
