Pastor-Led Bible Studies

Men's Breakfast Bible Study Meets at 8:00 Saturday Mornings at the Copper Kettle in Osseo.  C ome, join in anytime.

Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Fireside Room.  The Gospel for the coming week is studied.

                                                    

1st and 3rd Friday mornings at 10:15: off site study at Steeple-Pointe Care Center

Adult small group-Sunday Morning at 10:00-SALSA FOR THE SOUL

Salsa for The Soul continues in 2008.  You have many choices!  Pastor Tim will coach you through the Bible.  Todd and Craig will lead discussions on faith topics.  Nancy will encourage parents and suggest tool from the Seach Institute's 40 Developmental Assets.  And Mary will lead "God Chicks" in a discussion on how to be the woman God has blessed you to be.  Please call the church office (763-425-4243) for more information. 

Parents and Pie Fellowship

This is a time of fellowship and fun for parents of children in the Wednesday Church School Classes.  Get to know others parents and enjoy Christian fellowship while children are in church school!

  

Stephen ministry

Advent Lutheran Church has over thirty trained Stephen Ministers. These people are trained to help others through difficult times such as divorce, death of a spouse, loss of job, or other such circumstances. This caring relationship is offered at no charge and you need not be a member of Advent to ask for help. Contact Lynn Hein, Stephen Ministry Coordinator, at

763-425-8944 or a Pastor.

Prayer Time Ministry

Every Friday at 8:00, a group meets to pray for our church, pastors, lay staff, programming, and outreach. We meet in the Sanctuary at the foot of the Cross to pray.

Please Note:  call first to see if the group is meeting.

Women's bible study

Lay-led Thursday morning Bible study at 10:00.

Health and wellness

Advent has a Parish Nurse program. This ministry celebrates health and wellness, encourages regular blood pressure checks and other screenings, offers support and referrals, and other programs to keep members healthy. Included in this ministry are prayer shawls. We wrap each other in love and prayers when walking through a difficult time. You will never walk alone as a member of Advent.
